EUropean test bed for the maritime Common Information Sharing Environment in the 2020 perspective
EUCISE2020 is a Research&Development Services Contract for Maritime Information Sharing between EUCISE2020 Project partners, implementing an interregional network supporting cross-sector and cross-border information exchange. It is based on a cost effective decentralised interconnection of different information layers that increases efficiency of maritime surveillance systems by filling existing information gaps while avoiding data duplication. EUCISE2020 aims to be a significant step forward along the accomplishment of the European roadmap for CISE (Common Information Sharing Environment) by contributing the results of a Pre-Operational Validation phase which will accomplish information exchange at various levels between 12 EU Countries.
