Title
Supply Chain Governance in Logistic Contracts: Implication on Availability and Case History
Abstract
In a changing environment, Avionics Industry trends and new challenges arise to satisfy Customer evolutionary needs and new requirements. Leonardo Airborne and Space Systems Division, thanks to the expertise and experience in delivering integrated logistic services, have been rationalized Supply Chain Management as one of the enabler in Support Services programs. AReference Support Programme,as per supplier catalog widening , is the Eurofighter Support for National, European and Export Countries. Leonardo Supportability Service Model bases sustainability of items when testing, spare parts and Engineering capability are all available on identified Supply Chain.National Customers need is to operate (fly) more at lower cost/fh, while Foreign (Export)Customers requires industrialization plan for the in country sustainment. Both examples are cases in which a Supply Chain model, based on Contract, Procurement and Equipment features, is demonstrated to afford availability-derived performances, asset saturation, cost control, and savings in delivery time.
