Title
Software-Defined Radio
Abstract
Probably among the readers of this Yearbook there are ones who already met the Software Defined Radio (SDR) subject along their reading or professional activities and they could be accustomed to the most diffused descriptions referring the adoption of the relevant technologies. However, this paper provides the readers with a particular description of the way SDR has been covering along its different applications. First of all, SDR is still a radio, then it's aimed to transmit and receive data or voice based information by means of wireless communication. In addition, each SDR has to adopt unavoidable analog components like antenna and radio frequency amplifiers respectively necessary to allow electromagnetic coupling with free space and signal strengthening.
