Titolo Improvement of the Power Control Unit for Ion Thruster to cope with Milli-Newton range RIT

Abstract

The paper presents the achievements accomplished so far by Selex ES in the implementation of a Power Control Unit for Radio-Frequency Ion Thruster and explores the possibility to enlarge the present capability of the existing equipment developed for the micro-Newton range up to 2.5 mN preserving the communality of design and the testing heritage, as well as the architectural approach already developed, implemented and validated.
