Titolo Why it is important to build an Innovation Strategy through Organizational Project Management Maturity Model

Abstract

Nowadays innovation is the main global growth trigger, as the marketplace keeps changing profoundly, at an increasingly fast pace. Private, public, NGO and no profit organizations must innovate to survive in the hyper-competitive business environment, but especially to anticipate, prevent and address the transformation. Innovating means to select, define and implement projects avoiding projects failure require a stronger combination of competencies, capabilities and attitudes, new or improved ones. An innovation strategy execution framework must refer portfolio, program, project management and system engineering, as well as organizational-enabling practices to consistently and predictably deliver organizational strategy and produce better performance, better results, and a sustainable competitive advantage.
